Stand With Benue & Plateau
Across Nigeria's Middle Belt, repeated attacks on rural communities in Benue and Plateau States have driven hundreds of thousands of people from their homes. In Benue alone, an estimated 500,000 people are sheltering in overcrowded displacement camps where food, clean water, sanitation, and medical care are scarce. Recent attacks, including Yelewata and communities in Otukpo LGA, together with killings across Plateau's Riyom, Barkin Ladi, and Bassa areas, have deepened an already severe humanitarian crisis. The Benue & Plateau Emergency Appeal funds direct relief for displaced and grieving families: emergency shelter materials, food and clean water, basic medical and trauma care, and protection support, delivered on the ground through trusted local partners. Every dollar raised is tracked and reported transparently.
