What partnership actually involves
Organizations we already work with
Our community outreach on Buffalo's West Side is delivered together with Cold Spring Bible Chapel, whose volunteers serve alongside ours. We receive corporate giving through the Blackbaud Giving Fund, by way of Linde's employee giving programme. We are listed on Benevity, where employees at member companies can find us to give and to log volunteer hours — if your employer uses Benevity, you can support us and claim any matching your company offers without leaving their portal.
In Nigeria, relief and programme delivery runs through local partner organizations already established in Benue, Plateau, Kaduna, Kogi and Enugu States. We name them in programme reporting rather than on a logo wall, because in communities affected by ongoing violence, visibility is not always something a partner wants.
How a partnership actually starts
There is no application to complete before we will talk to you, and no minimum. A partnership takes shape in four steps:
- A conversation. What your organization wants to achieve, what you have to offer — money, people, skills, premises, reach — and whether we are genuinely the right partner for it. Sometimes we are not, and we will say so.
- A scope. Which initiative or community, what you contribute, what we deliver, and over what period.
- An agreement in writing. Plain terms covering what each side has committed to, how funds are handled, and how either party can end it.
- Reporting. Agreed at the start, not improvised at the end.
What reporting means here
Partners receive the actual ledger entries for the work they funded — vendor, amount, date, and what was delivered — not a designed summary with a photograph on the front. Everything we publish to the public we will provide to a partner in more detail, and we would rather show you a project that came in over budget with the reason than present a rounded figure.
All partnership contributions are tax-deductible under our 501(c)(3) status, and we can provide the documentation your finance or grants team needs.
